Merger proposal

[edit]

As this practice sits almost entirely within Lent, whose page has a large section on fasting, it might be better to merge this page with Lent. Jontel (talk) 21:14, 31 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Witchcraft?

[edit]

Black fast also seems to be a term related to witchcraft (see Mabel Brigge). Should that be a new section on this page, or a separate page? Sjbennington (talk) 23:45, 3 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

"Vegan"

[edit]

This seems politically charged. Veganism is not recognised by Christianity. It would make sense to say that they consume meal devoid of animal products when breaking the fast (besides, they may still consume certain animal products such as honey). ~2026-10979-02 (talk) 15:21, 18 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
