Vasectomy effectiveness

Trussell says "The weighted average of the results from nine vasectomy studies analyzed with life-table procedures is 0.02% of women becoming pregnant in the year following the procedure... We arbitrarily set the typical- and perfect-use estimates to 0.15% and 0.10%, respectively."

No, the expert who wrote the article explained why they selected the numbers we use in the article in the ... part of the quote. The experts believe that failures are not being reported. Johnjbarton (talk) 15:03, 19 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
