I found this page-red-linked so i started it. The man who discovered this cave, Ignaz Bing, was a cousin of both my grandmother and my grandfather on my mother's side of the family. Pre-emptively, should anyone wish to delete the word "Jewish" from the lead paragraph, i will insist it remain. The cave's own web page, cited as to the history of the cave, makes note of the fact that Ignaz Bing was Jewish, and if you read the wiki page on the history of the Bing company, you will learn that it was "nationalized" under the Nazis. Members of the Bing family fled to England. Being Jewish has not been an "option" for my family. We are Jewish. Thank you for understanding. Catherineyronwode (talk) 02:22, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
