Where's his filmography? I notice on the pages of music stars they usually list it on a separate wiki page, but can't seem to find his. Would a new page have to be created or do we just put a box on this one? --Stevehim (talk) 15:49, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

Missing info

Billy Idol a Baby Boomer, not Gen X

Removed reference to Idol as Gen X, since as someone born in 1955 he was clearly a baby boomer (1945-60) although he may have influenced Gen X youth culture and may have even coined the term.

"whiskey and pills" and likeness 2022

Should those 3 EPs even be listed here (and, if so, should the formatting be changed)?

If an artist has a separate Discography page, then usually, only full-length studio albums are listed on their main page. However, there are exceptions, if an EP/compilation/mini-album etc. is considered to be a "major release". I'm not a huge Billy Idol fan, so I'm asking others: should those 3 EPs be listed on his main page, as it is right now?

If the answer is "yes", then maybe it would look better if the EPs were integrated into the studio albums, albeit with a mouse-over note next to each EP, indicating that each one was "released as a studio EP"? See here for an example of what I mean (since in that case, it was agreed that the 3 EPs and 1 soundtrack were major NIN releases, but are also distinguished as not being normal full-length albums). Query over application for Irish citizenship.

The "Early Life" section contains the following: "His mother was from Cork, while his father was from Birmingham and therefore qualifies for Irish citizenship through his mother, but it is unknown if he has ever applied for it."

It would seem to be a speculative superfluous point. However, it also fails to understand the laws on Irish Nationality. Any person born outside of Ireland to a parent who was born on the island of Ireland before 31 December 2004 (as his mother was) automatically inherits Irish citizenship at birth (regardless of citizenship from their place of birth). Billy Idol (William Michael Albert Broad) automatically has both British and Irish citizenship, the latter is not something that need be applied for. Whether or not he travels on a British passport or Irish passport, he is entitled to both and would automatically be given both on application.
