Removed a sentence claiming that Chase won the Grammy for Best New Artist in 1971. That award went to The Carpenters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kevin Forsyth (talkcontribs) 8 March 2005

The band's first record was released in 1971, which means that they'd not even have been eligible for an award that spring. However, they *were* nominated for Best New Artist for the 1972 awards -- losing to Carly Simon.
