Also geometry... Geometry guy 00:54, 22 May 2007 (UTC) Is the assumption that phi's image is open really necessary? Immediately after the article says that $\phi ^{-1}$ is holomorphic, hence continuous. Continuity implies that the inverse image of any open set is open. Since U is open, then $(\phi ^{-1})^{-1}(U)=\phi (U)$ is open. Or have I missed something? --DreadSam (talk) 23:26, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
