Not neutral phrase
[edit]Some editor added this text to the lead section:
- "His recent articles[9][10] in Harvard business reviews on the impact of demonetization in India received negative criticism[11] from the readers on his biased views."
Shortly after this edit, another user undid the edit, with the explanation "Removed biased content , not neutral tone."
In turn, this edit was undone 2 days later, again having the non-neutral text in the lead section.
Rather than start an edit war, I thought I would create here a talk thread to discuss the pros and cons of the aforementioned contribution.
I would think that one single source is not enough to say that the the views of the subject of the article "received negative criticism", and that more sources would be necessary to include such language. Otherwise, it gives the impression that the opinion of one is the opinion of the majority. And that is not established with only one source. Further, it would be good that if there is to be mention of criticism, that it be explained what the criticism argues. Finally, regardless of whether a mention of criticism is warranted or not, I think its place would not be in the lead section of the article. (talk) user:Al83tito 01:30, 27 June 2017 (UTC)
