  • Comment: This article contains a lot of engineering jargon and acronyms. I have tried my best to make the article more concise and easy to understand, but it may need editing from the submitter to make it easier for a general audience to understand. • Comment: You’ve made a great start, and the article is getting closer to passing notability, but isn’t there yet. To pass notability, It requires 2-3 sources which are reliable, independent, secondary sources, which talk at length about the topic of the article. Unfortunately the sources you have so far aren’t quite there. Two are PR releases, which unfortunately do not count as reliable, and are also primary sources. Another two are more solid, but only mention BSMR reactors in passing while focusing on other things. The first reference is great, but we need another couple of sources of that same quality. Good luck and keep up the good work 👍 Absurdum4242 (talk) 07:02, 14 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

BSMR vs BSR

[edit]

@IND123456: In response to your post on my talk page, I've taken a look through the article and its sources, as well as tried to find any others online. I can see why you've been having trouble with BSMR vs BSR, since many sources are contradictory as to what exactly a "Bharat Small Reactor" actually is.

I've been unable to determine whether BSR is another term for BSMR; if BSR represents a class of different designs including BSMR-200, SMR-55, and IGCR; or if a BSR is a separate reactor design. My recommendation is to simply not mention BSR at all, since we can't write about something for which no reliable sources exist. As more information is available about these reactors, I think the difference will become clearer.

Mentions of Bharat Small Reactors are relatively sparse compared to mentions of the BSMR. The existing sources already discuss the BSMR-200, SMR-55, and IGCR, so I suggest mentioning the latter two as related development and focusing on the BSMR-200 as the article subject.

Separately, I cleaned up the sources and improved their formatting. I also removed one source which strongly seems AI-generated and is therefore unusable. H2so4aq (talk) 05:54, 26 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thanks @H2so4aq. I have gone through your improvements and they appear to me to be totally fine and justified. Will continue to work on the article. Thanks again for your cooperation. IND123456 (talk) 10:35, 27 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
