Conflict of interest edits

I have reverted the recent edits by Thomas Landon (talk · contribs) because he is Beth Macy's spouse. --William Graham ^talk 03:48, 20 September 2021 (UTC)

Please see note below. I am her spouse and this was my first time editing a page, and didn't realize that was a violation of the rules. Nonetheless, the listing is incorrect. We do not have a son and a daugher, but two adult children, one of whom is non-binary, but due to threats against them, I'd prefer to not be specific. TDLandon (talk) 12:34, 18 October 2025 (UTC)

Mistake in family listings for Beth Macy

I attempted to edit the page but because I am related (husband) it was flagged for conflict of interest. I understand that policy and will comply going forward. (I voluntarily disclosed the relationship in the notes when I edited it.)

The page incorrectly says that Beth Macy has a son and a daughter. This is incorrect. One of our children is non-binary, but we would prefer for security reasons to instead say that we have two adult children, without identifying their gender. This is potentially a matter of safety. Thank you for your consideration. Beth is a public person with a political viewpoint, and given the current anti queer/trans/nonbinary animus, we would appreciate it if someone could make this change.
