Pardoned by Richard I?
[edit]The entry Richard Coeur de Lion (statue) refers to Richard having pardoned Bertran, evidently an important event because commemorated in a bas relief near Westminster. No mention in this brief bio. PLEASE someone elucidate on it.Sussmanbern (talk) 02:48, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
- That article has the wrong man. It's Bertran de Born you're looking for. Although what is depicted in the relief is legendary, it is probable that Bertran was "pardoned" by Richard after a dispute over a castle. Srnec (talk) 21:00, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
