There are some references here that support notability. According to the British NME he was not only founder, but also spokesman of Die Krupps: . Before that he was founder of the early (1976) German punk band de:Male (Band) at the age of 14. The band recorded Germany's first punk album and some more records before he started Die Krupps with Jürgen Engler. The British "Bookseller" commented on how his later role as head of German Book Publishing in the Egmont Group evolved: . In 2002 he contributed to the book de:Verschwende Deine Jugend with a long interview about the rise of punk culture during the 1970s in Germany. This book was accompanied by a double cd containing material that credits him as author and songwriter.
