British involvement

[edit]

In light of the United Kingdom's departure from the EU, I'm wondering whether this article ought to be revised in order to reflect the UK's independence from the EU now and thus be brought up-to-date. Frankly, I can't imagine the UK is still involved in the Berlin Process (especially given the very nature of the project's aims), but intriguingly I cannot seem to find any news or articles confirming the UK formally withdrawing from the Process since the start of the year; there is a 2018 Government page explaining the UK's "continued interest" in the Balkan states beyond Brexit[1], although the involvement as a member state is no longer the case.

Please let me know your thoughts! UnknownBrick22 (talk) 23:52, 20 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • UnknownBrick22 thanks for posting. I updated the article so that the U.K. is not included on the lists of E.U. members (the map still needs to be updated though but I don't know how to edit svg. files). You're right, most other E.U. articles are already actually updated so yes. Dan the Animator 19:38, 19 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
