I made the infobox a military infobox since that makes more sense. I also took away the pictures of the Battle of Monmouth and Valley Forge, since those have little to do with the article--(Wikipedian1234 (talk) 20:28, 26 April 2008 (UTC))Reply
Hello Wikipedian1234. Thank you for contributing - the more contributors, the better. Regarding the pictures...I had included the image of the Battle of Monmouth because Tupper had his horse killed under him during that battle. Likewise, I included the image of Valley Forge because Tupper and his 11th Massachusetts Regiment wintered at Valley Forge with Gen. Washington. You might want to re-consider. The article would benefit from a portrait of Benjamin Tupper, but I have been unable to locate. Apparently, a 1789 portrait was displayed during 1888 at the Centennial Celebration at Marietta, Ohio. According to the document "Report of Proceedings of the Committees Having Charge of Relics at the Centennial Celebration, April 7, 1888, Commemorating the Hundredth Anniversary of the First Settlement, Authorized by Congress, of the Northwest Territory at Marietta, Ohio", "compiled and arranged By Mrs. L. A. Alderman, published by The Ladies Committee of the Pioneer Association, 1888, E. R. Alderman & Sons, Printers", and "extracted by Debbie Noland Nitsche" in December 2004, a "Portrait of Benjamin Tupper, 1789" was among the "List of Articles Loaned by the Muskingum County Pioneer Association" to the Centennial. Based on email interaction during 2009, The Pioneer and Historical Society of Muskingum County was unaware of the current location of the portrait.
