There is an excellent article on Ben LeFevre in the History of Shelby County Ohio and Representative Citizens, pages 653 thru 659. It goes into great detail of his life and travels. Also the original house is still standing, it is just a half mile from my mothers home in Salem Township, near Maplewood Ohio. The house and many outbuildings are still there, one barn is falling down.
