There are a few different years given. Most of the newspaper sources give 1926, as does the VA BIRLS death file. The two sources currently used, Find a Grave and the Nationwide Gravesite Locator give 1920. His Social Security Application death record has it as 1925 [Ancestry.com. Looking at 1930 and 1940 census records, it seems pretty clear that 1926 is the correct date. Here is the 1930 record that I think represents Paddock, I don't see any other likely individuals. We can add mention of the 1920 date in a note. Smmurphy^(Talk) 12:23, 4 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
