Argentine American soccer player

[edit]

What is the policy based rationale for insisting that Cremaschi be called an Argentine American soccer player, rather than just an American soccer player? Cremaschi was born in the United States and has only represented the United States and should just be called an American soccer player per MOS:ETHNICITY. His father was born in Argentina, but he also has Italian. Should he then be called a Italian-Argentine American soccer player? Also, don't link ethnicity per MOS:ETHNICITY.
