Outdated Definition of "Race Holy War"

[edit]

Well first no one self-describes themselves as a "White Supremacist". Instead, the vast majority prefer the term "White Nationalist", and I am curious how a biological male can "self-identify" as a woman, but a White Nationalist is called what their enemies decide to call them, in the same tradition as "all Palestinians are Hamas", particularly if they are killed by Israel. Second, the "Race" that the White Nationalists are at war with is most-often the Jews, and it is always turned around and described as the Jews being at war with the White race, and then follows a long litany of historical examples, usually starting with the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. One of the key moments of a White Nationalist's development is when they realize that "we" are not at war with the Jews, it is the Jews that are at war with "us". Wikipedia is not censored, and this Article is the exact opposite of the truth on at least these two key points. Finding RS to support the truth may be impossible, for obvious reasons. Further, I doubt the vast majority of White Nationalists know who Ben Klassen was, or is now in the "how he is being used" context. He might be an important figure to someone, but is completely meaningless to White Nationalists.~2025-31695-98 (talk) 02:43, 7 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Fruitarianism

[edit]

In the talk page archive, soneone asked about Klassen and fruitarian diet. It was implied that he practiced the dietary guidelines in Salubrious Living. However, a cursory reading of his two autobiographies contains references to him eating meat at various restaurants. If this info is incorporated into the article, it should be noted that he advocated for a fruitarian diet but did not always practice it. ~2025-42473-04 (talk) 00:42, 23 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Is his first name Bernard or Bernhardt?

[edit]

Sources don't agree. Michael said Bernhardt, as does Jean-Yves Camus. Berry says his name is Bernhard (which according to Klassen's autobiography is actually his father's name? As far as I can tell he never says his own full name in the autobiography). Benjamin R. Epstein says Bernard, as does H.C. Lazebnik, but those are mostly passing mentions.

Unhelpfully, Klassen himself seems to be undecided. In a 1966 advertisement he said his first name was Bernard , as does some early news coverage on the National White Party, while on the back of his 1991 The Little White Book he said it was Bernhardt. Did he change his name at some point? No clue. PARAKANYAA (talk) 11:16, 9 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Delving into primary sources (the horror) on ancestry.com
His American naturalization was under the name Bernard. A border crossing log says Bernhard, as do several Canadian censuses.
But his Canadian voting registration is under the name Bernhardt, but this may have been his father?
