I note that you have relied on notability for the PROD. I would have thought that as per WP:NMUSIC having won a Grammy, even if not a "major", they would probably be notable, and also the "lesser" GMA? Aoziwe (talk) 11:04, 4 March 2020 (UTC)

No. It's her legal name. Her stage name, and the name by which is is better known, is Brooke Fraser.

Thanks for getting back to me. I am not necessarily disagreeing with you. If I felt strongly about it I would have dePRODed it straight up. The criteria for notability across subject areas is so subjective and varied. I think if they were a horse jockey or footballer or cricketer they would have romped in notability with such an award/s. I've gone to AfD for several such musicians and unless they're written about, they get turfed. Songwriters are, unfortunately, not notable. And yes, notability criteria is too often too varied. A footballer simply has to have played with a professional club and they get an article because that's the project's criteria, even if we know nothing about the subject other than their height and weight. Similarly, any "fourth division" team gets an article in the US even if they don't even get local press coverage because they may play for the national cup, because that's the project's criteria.
