Talk:Begbroke

I happen to know a Begbroke Parish Councillor, and I showed this article to him. The only thing he was surprised about was that Begbroke has a Lord! He said that he will ask about it at the next Parish meeting. But I was wondering if anyone knows how to officially go about verifying this sort of thing? He’s not denying that there is a lord; but after living there for 54 years he thought he might have heard something about it! ~Anthropos1

I have removed the reference since it's stated without citation (and in any case it's impossible to purchase a genuine British title so it's likely to be fake, whatever the current 'holder' might believe). Sozomen 08:07, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

It seems Mr Coates is determined to be the Lord of the Manor of Begbroke (not that he gets the title right) and now wishes to cite the authority of the "The Manorial Society of Great Britain". The Manorial Society are actually autioneers not some validation of peerages and wotnot society.
