Comment: This draft is close to ready, but needs a couple finishing touches.* "Erlick argues this same problem could be applied to the terms gay and Latina" needs a source.* "While she was writing the book, US politicians introduced over 1,000 bills targeting transgender people." does not appear to be supported by the sources provided. This may be synthesis based on sources describing the number of bills and an estimation of when Erlick was writing the book. If there isn't a source making this statement, it should be removed.* The book cover image has been uploaded to Commons with a CC0 license. I can't find any indication the author/publisher released it as such; if so, it needs to be deleted (but could be potentially re-uploaded in low resolution under fair use)The article could also use a section on reception/reviews, but that's not a blocker for moving the article to the mainspace.
