Stakes vs. Handicap
[edit]A brief search for historical information about this race on the web, in the news and in books indicates it has been referred to as either the "Beaugay Stakes" or "Beaugay Handicap". However, the term Handicap is used at least 5 times more often than Stakes in sources. Therefore, per Wikipedia guidelines at WP:POVTITLE, the page title should reflect the consensus of reliable sources, i.e Beaugay Handicap. Beaugay Stakes should be included as an alternative title and be a redirect page to this article. If the name has been officially changed from Handicap to Stakes, that should be explained in the article with a citation to a reliable source. — CactusWriter (talk) 06:29, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
