Per MOS:NATIONALITY, the band should be referred to as "Finnish" because the band became notable in Finland. HorrorLover555 (talk) 14:37, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

All well and good, but seeing as I'm updating this text in an official manner - with information provided by the band directly, shouldn't this be enough if the band identify themselves as an international band?

The band formed in Finland, which makes them Finnish. Most other sources refer to the band as Finnish or Finnish-based. Just because there are two different members from Greece and Hungary does not make them "international", which is clearly original research. HorrorLover555 (talk) 14:49, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

Is this proof enough? If the band identifies as International what else is there to say?

One source from Nuclear Blast is not enough to deem them as "international". Most other sources I have found refer to them as Finnish. As to what is stated in MOS:NATIONALITY: The opening paragraph should usually provide context for that which made the person notable. In most modern-day cases, this will be the country, region, or territory where the person is currently a national or permanent resident; or, if the person is notable mainly for past events, where the person was such when they became notable. In this case, person can also be substituted for "band". Nevertheless, I will provide some sources:

• "Beast In Black Releases New Song 'Power Of The Beast'". Blabbermouth.net. 28 June 2024. — This source refers to them as "Finland-based".
• Zukowski, Zenae (5 July 2024). "Beast In Black unleash "Power Of The Beast" video". Metal Insider. – This source refers to them as "Finnish".
• "Beast in Black Songs, Albums, Reviews, Bio & M..." AllMusic. – On AllMusic, they are referred to as "Finnish".

Most of these sources I have given are a majority that refer to it as "Finnish". When even the band's official website are referring to them as "Finnish", it's time to change it back to "Finnish". HorrorLover555 (talk) 15:17, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

The tour section wasn't removed. I simply shortened it down to a listing of concert tours per WP:INDISCRIMINATE and a majority of band articles utilize this as such, but I did make sure to keep the citations. And to add, the tours are already majorly covered in the History section. See the Tours section here. HorrorLover555 (talk) 12:56, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
