Confusing sentence
[edit]Quoting from the second paragraph:
"It is a source of radiation loss in colliders, more specifically a type of synchrotron radiation and because of that a beam particle is lost ..."
When this is written in a simpler style, it is clearly saying:
"A beam particle is lost because of radiation loss"
I'm sure the editor who wrote the sentence intended it to say something more significant or interesting, but in fact it only says "energy is lost because of energy loss". I'm not knowledgeable enough to try to reconstruct the intended meaning; I'll leave it for someone who is. TooManyFingers (talk) 17:58, 18 August 2025 (UTC)
