city rights for Düsseldorf?
[edit]It should be mentioned that another reason for the battle was the claim of city rights of the city of Düsseldorf. Düsseldorf gained city rights in 1288 after the battle.
One of the largest battles of the Middle Ages?
[edit]Is this right? With c.4000 combatants each side, it's pretty small compared to Mohacs, Lechfeld, Grunwald, off the top of my head. Kisch (talk) 17:45, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
