J. Cleaveland Cady

[edit]

With regard to the misinformation about Cady, I expect it arises from a confusion of the Battell Chapel at Yale with the Battell Chapel at Norfolk, Connecticut, built in 1887/8 and designed by J. Cleaveland Cady - also built by the same Battell family (in honor of Sarah and Joseph Battell), and given to the Congregational Church of Norfolk. Easy to confuse. - Nunh-huh 18:00, 16 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
