Journalists "featured"

Journalists report the news. They are not the news. To say that Soper "has been featured regularly on radio and television" implies he is the news.203.80.61.102 (talk) 03:26, 8 November 2017 (UTC)

Children- BLP?

Is all the trivia about Soper's children really warranted? They are not public figures and I don't think the world needs to know about every time one of them (for example) fell down a bank. Daveosaurus (talk) 07:30, 28 November 2021 (UTC)

I agree. I had initially wrote in one sentence summing up that one son was stabbed, and another was convicted of assault. I think it's notable enough to mention it in passing, but to have more information about his children than his marriages in his personal life seems disproportionate. I'd be keen to trim it back to what I had initially wrote it as. Nauseous Man (talk) 17:43, 28 November 2021 (UTC)

I feel like if you're going to mention it at all it should at least have more detail than it did. As it is, it's only one short sentence per incident, really not that much.
