Expansion and Edits to 'Barricade'
[edit]Hello Fellow Wikipedians: Just a brief note to let you know that, under the aegis of a Wiki Education assignment, some college students and faculty will be expanding and editing the existing 'Barricade' entry. Our aim is to retain as much of the existing text as possible, even as we significantly expand on the political history of the barricade. We ask for your patience, as we migrate new scholarship into the entry over the week of 12/1-12/5. If possible, we'd request that you wait to suggest edits until that work is done. This is our first time doing this. We have spent a semester learning how to contribute, even as we've conducted extensive research to produce meaningful and reliable text. "Portable vehicle barricades" needs its own section

Nude Women and Portland Protest.
[edit]The section comparing the Portland Protests and the Capital Riot seems odd and unnecessary, seeing as it would not fall under tradional definitions of a barricade. The issue of the picture of Nude Women on the page is also something that might warrant changes. I am new to this so any explanation as to why they are their would be helpful, but otherwise I would want to remove them. Nameofuser1 (talk) 16:26, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
