[edit]Researchers believe that the data that 2/3 of the population was killed is a gross exaggeration, largely due to the influence of political ideology in later periods.The Dzungars mainly aimed to seize livestock, property, and pastures, but did not intend to exterminate the population. -Al-Rakhat,Idn Nasr Muhammad beg (talk) 06:15, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
