Barbara’s greatest impact and influence might well have been her years as a frankly sensational elementary school teacher. She brought both humor and performing arts to my 6th grade class at Hebron School in Penn Hills, PA (1963-64 school year). Half a century later, her former students are heard remarking about her lasting impact on their lives at reunions and over social media.
