I think she was born in the 1920's. If her husband, Michael Barrington was born in 1925, then Barbara New maybe born in the same year, or a little bit earlier or later. Nobody knows the actual year? I make a very big search in the Google, but I cant find anything. Maybe someone else have a bigger luck, or know how to search it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.226.234.183 (talk) 11:32, 4 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hopefully an official obituary will be released before too long and will include this information. Crisso (talk) 16:58, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nothing???

I think that is a very sad thing, that there is just too little informtion can be found on the internet about a much loved actress. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.226.234.183 (talk) 05:34, 24 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Over two months after her death and still nothing. I can't believe she's considered so obscure as not to warrant an obituary in the press. For those wanting to know her birth details, I looked up Barbara New on the birth index, and the only birth of a Barbara H. New between 1920 and 1930 was registered in 1923 in Hammersmith.
