As a kid, I used to love Barbara Mitchell as Mrs Abbott and our Lizzie's mam, and from talking to other 40- and 50-somethings, it's obvious she IS remembered and deserves an article.....but there's amazingly little info about her to be found online, in fact if not for the Kingston Online article, I wouldn't have been able to come up with anything.
