This photo looks nothing like the barbajuans I eat in Monaco. It looks more like a samosa. And usually green chard is a key ingredient - the filling here looks yellow. Also the picture caption appears to be spelled wrongly. Orlando098 (talk) 09:15, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Fritter, Turnover or something else?

I am not sure that Fritter is the right word? I have tagged it as vague and put thus discussion here. Fritter article says a portion of meat, seafood, fruit, vegetables, or other ingredients which have been battered or breaded, or just a portion of dough without further ingredients, that is deep-fried. Based upon that, it is not a fritter as its a filling covered in dough. However this is made with a single piece of pastry which is filled and folded over and fried so similar to a Turnover (food).
