Baran’ → Baran, Sool Baran, Somalia → Baran, Sool – There is a similarly named place called Baran/Badhan in Sanaag. Not disambiguating by nametagging the province may confuse readers. 88.104.44.117 (talk) 05:27, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
- I think a bit more information may be required here. The other article referred to is presumably Badhan, Sanaag. A few initial observations:
- This article was initially created for a town in Belarus but was a duplicate of an existing article.
I suspect the apostrophe is just a typo.- The second source cited refers to this as Baaraan Baaraan and gives a variety of alternative names.
- However, given the

- I may have called it wrong on the typo; Baran’ has one incoming link from List of cities and largest towns in Belarus where various other names in the "Russian" column end in an apostrophe. Google Maps displays it with an apostrophe too. With regards to the Somali town I think the proposed title is probably fine, Baran, Somalia is ambiguous and should redirect to the dab page. - I support moving Baran, Somalia to Baran, Sool and creating a three-entry disambiguation page for Baran (2 in Somalia, one in Belarus). I also suggest a redirect from Baran, Sanaag to Badhan, Sanaag. Pichpich (talk) 18:59, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
