Baduspanids? baduspan?

[edit]

i can only assume the editor was referring to the Padusbanids/Padusban, but I still can't find any connection to پادوسبانیان in persian. Chamroshduty (talk) 18:48, 15 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but the Persian spelling is irrelevant in the English Wikipedia. Please see WP:COMMONNAME. --HistoryofIran (talk) 18:57, 15 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

If the word پ "P" pronounced ب "B" in english, So in English a Persian should be called Bersian. The word پادوسبان "Padusban" should Not be changed to Baduspan(!) It seems that you are distorting history in the name of arabs with the name of an Iranian. Chamroshduty (talk) 20:47, 15 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Do not post spelling mistakes

[edit]

Stop it. this is called Padusbanian in Iran, don't distort Iran's history. I will report you Chamroshduty (talk) 16:15, 27 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

For the sixth time, its irrelevant what the spelling is in Persian. See WP:COMMONNAME. Feel free to report me. HistoryofIran (talk)

Lineages of several Baduspanid rulers

[edit]

Persian Wikipedia includes the lineages of several Baduspanid rulers who were only distantly related to their predecessors. Namely, are there lineages of Afridun b. Karan (https://fa.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%A2%D9%81%D8%B1%DB%8C%D8%AF%D9%88%D9%86_%D9%BE%D8%A7%D8%AF%D9%88%D8%B3%D9%BE%D8%A7%D9%86%DB%8C), Shahriyar III b. Jamshid (https://fa.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%B4%D9%87%D8%B1%DB%8C%D8%A7%D8%B1_%D8%B3%D9%88%D9%85_%D9%BE%D8%A7%D8%AF%D9%88%D8%B3%D9%BE%D8%A7%D9%86%DB%8C) and Zarrinkamar I (https://fa.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%B2%D8%B1%DB%8C%D9%86%E2%80%8C%DA%A9%D9%85%D8%B1_%DB%8C%DA%A9%D9%85). Can someone with the proper knowledge of Persian transliterate personal names included in these lineages and add them to this page? Симмах (talk) 14:10, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
