Notability
[edit]Back Porch Video *was* notable. I discovered their treasure trove of videos on Youtube and do not know who created the original Wikipedia page, however they were notable. They had a following throughout the state of Michigan and into Ontario, but that is not the basis of their notability.
Apparently the link and reference in the original article was not checked before deletion -- it states that Back Porch Video won a CableACE award in 1985. I'm not affliated personally with this group, don't know any of the people personally, but a CableACE award, like an Oscar or Emmy, implies a certain level of notability. That was especially true in the 1980s, when few cable shows (such as "Dream On" on HBO) were nominated for Emmies and instead received CableACE awards. Noirdame (talk) 08:56, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
