I put him on bio-stub, whereas I did not with similarly short checker player articles, because he seems unusual here in one way. That being there seems to be few to no articles on African players in chess or backgammon. Checking Category:Chess players by nationality and Category:Backgammon players I didn't find any African nations as subcategories. Just search "grandmaster" Africa(n) got me a few possibilities from North Africa, but I don't think I found much sub-Saharan. I found an article about the South African Chess Championship, but the only winner to have his own article is a German-Jewish immigrant to South Africa. Not trying to be PC, I just know African coverage is at times spotty. I'm not sure this could be expanded, but if so it might be a good thing on that front.--T. To update there is now a Category:Egyptian chess players, Category:Moroccan chess players, Category:South African chess players, and Category:Zambian chess players.--T. Anthony (talk) 02:41, 30 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
