The British Business & General Aviation Association is the largest national Business Aviation trade association in Europe, and has more flying members than the EBAA. It is recognised by the UK Government as an important voice of this sector of aviation, and is consulted with by National government frequently. Inclusion of the association appears to be in line with the Wikiproject Aviation, referenced on the pages of many similar organisations - eg Middle East Business Aviation Assoiation, EBAA, Asian Businss Aviation Association etc.

[edit]

Companies House for England and Wales states that the BBGA was legally incorporated 28 April 1975 (as the General Aviation Manufacturers & Traders Association Limited). On 09 Mar 2009, it changed its legal name to B B G A Ltd, until 23 Aug 2018, when it changed its legal name to BBGA Association Limited, which remains current as of date of this comment.Source It is important to state that an entity registered on Companies House may be known as a different name (legally annotated as 'T/A', common abbreviation for 'trading as'). This article needs updating to reflect this. Regards, Militum professio scriniarii (talk) 02:56, 20 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
