Request for substantial update to biography

[edit]

I am the subject of this article and therefore have a conflict of interest. I would be grateful if an independent editor could review the following factual updates.

The article is substantially outdated. In particular, the introduction still describes me in my former role at Sodexo, which I left in 2019.

I would like to request that the article be updated to reflect the following:

  1. My current name is Azita Shariati Mirsaidi. I continue to use Azita Shariati professionally.
  2. I left Sodexo in November 2019 after 21 years with the company. My final positions included President of Sodexo Nordics, CEO of Sodexo AB and CEO of Sodexo Healthcare Nordics.
  3. I was appointed Group CEO of AniCura in 2019, taking up the position on 1 December 2019, and served until 2022.
  4. I have been a board member of Medicover since 2022 and am a member of its remuneration committee. I also serve on the boards of Stena Fastigheter and Sveriges Utbildningsradio (UR).
  5. In 2026, I became chair of FutureNorth AB, whose registered activities include investments and acquisitions, company development and strategic, management and technology advisory services.

I would also suggest restructuring the article to distinguish my executive career at Sodexo and AniCura from my subsequent board and advisory career.

I am happy to provide reliable published sources for each of these factual updates and would appreciate an independent editor reviewing and implementing the changes in accordance with Wikipedia’s policies on biographies of living persons and conflicts of interest. ~2026-50232-51 (talk) 20:14, 17 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Request to update biography – current roles and career

[edit]

I am Azita Shariati, the subject of this article, and I am therefore disclosing my conflict of interest. I would be grateful if an independent editor could review and implement the following factual updates.

The article is substantially outdated. In particular, the introduction still describes my former role at Sodexo as a current position. I left Sodexo in 2019 after 21 years with the company and subsequently served as Group CEO of AniCura from 2019 to 2022.

My current full name is Azita Shariati Mirsaidi. I changed my surname from Khalil Abad to Mirsaidi in 2019, while continuing to use Azita Shariati professionally.

Following my executive career, I have moved primarily into board, advisory and entrepreneurial roles. I currently serve on the boards of Medicover, Stena Fastigheter and Sveriges Utbildningsradio (UR). I have served on the Medicover board since 2022 and am also a member of its Remuneration Committee.

In 2026, I also became Chair of FutureNorth AB, a newly established Swedish company whose activities include investments and acquisitions, company development and strategic, management and technology advisory services.

Suggested updated introduction

“Azita Shariati Mirsaidi (born 14 January 1968), professionally known as Azita Shariati, is a Swedish business executive, board director and entrepreneur. She is a former President of Sodexo Nordics and served as Group CEO of European veterinary care group AniCura from 2019 to 2022. She currently serves on the boards of Medicover, Stena Fastigheter and Sveriges Utbildningsradio (UR), and is Chair of FutureNorth AB.

In 2015, Swedish business magazine Veckans Affärer named Shariati Sweden’s most powerful woman in business.”

Suggested career update

“Shariati joined Sodexo in 1998 and held a number of management positions during a 21-year career with the company. Her senior roles included CEO of Sodexo Sweden, President of Sodexo Nordics and CEO of Sodexo Healthcare Nordics.

In 2019, Shariati was appointed Group CEO of AniCura and assumed the position on 1 December 2019. She served as Group CEO until 2022.

Following her executive career, Shariati has taken on a number of board and advisory roles. She has served on the board of Medicover since 2022 and is a member of its Remuneration Committee. She also serves on the boards of Stena Fastigheter and Sveriges Utbildningsradio (UR).

In 2026, Shariati became Chair of FutureNorth AB, a Swedish company active in investments and acquisitions, company development and strategic advisory services.”

Reliable sources for these updates include official publications from AniCura, Medicover, Stena Fastigheter and Sveriges Utbildningsradio/its governing foundation, as well as independent media coverage from Sveriges Radio concerning the 2015 Veckans Affärer recognition.

I would appreciate an independent editor reviewing the proposed wording, sources and appropriate article structure in accordance with Wikipedia’s policies on biographies of living persons and conflict-of-interest editing. Thank you. ~2026-50232-51 (talk) 20:15, 17 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
