Meanings

[edit]

Some "Aya" names (in Japanese charactors) has no meaning, I think. --Love Krittaya (talk) 17:47, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Malagasy name

[edit]

Hello The mother of voice actor Annice Moriarty is named Aya Moriarty, and Ann has stated that her mother's name is of Malagasy origin. I don't know its meaning but I do know this is her mother's name. I don't know what her maden name was but she married a Moriarty from the mainland and had Annice while they lived in Zambia. thanks 199.101.62.225 (talk) 08:37, 26 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hebrew meaning

[edit]

requesting a citation on the claimed Hebrew “to fly swiftly” meaning. in a cursory search, i was unable to find anything backing it up that wasn't just copying from here. given how well it aligns with the ability of fictional character Aya Shameimaru, there's reason to be suspicious.

claim was introduced here (in 2010, along with Arabic meanings which are more easily verifiable) verticallity (talk) 03:14, 21 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
