Change requested

[edit]

Requesting the below change - slight amend to existing sentence and request to add a new one:

Change from: In 2016, Axa Wealth was sold to the Phoenix Group.

Change to: In 2016, Axa Wealth was sold to Phoenix Group. Phoenix Group changed its name to Standard Life plc in 2026.

Reason for change: Phoenix Group has now changed its name to Standard Life plc. And for consistency with other pages on Wikipedia and in the press, it may be good to say 'Phoenix Group' rather than 'the Phoenix Group'.

References supporting change: Articles online, e.g. this one https://www.ftadviser.com/content/8ff2fac8-51d0-40f5-a4bb-699409272a04

Disclosure: User requesting this change works for Standard Life. Morganna200 (talk) 22:54, 26 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I'm very new to requesting edits so not sure if the hyperlink needs to stay on Phoenix Group or if it should be on Standard Life plc? Morganna200 (talk) 23:52, 26 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Done Looks like the original article for Phoenix Group is now also renamed. SpencerT•C 20:16, 31 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
