Question

[edit]

Hello user 194.44.244.142, could you please inform us, for which reason you deleated a well proven part of the article on Avaza? Everything you deleated was supported by quotes from various sources. This page is to spread knowledge, Therefore I have reestablished the old content - I see no reason for deleating it unless given a reason.

It's not often that I contribute to Wikipedia. In fact, I only contribute when I am convinced to have certain knowledge of what I write about. This holds for the tourism zone of Avaza. And to my best knowledge the article was not nearly an advertisement. Confirmed with quotes from various sources - official Turkmen as well as western media - information was given on potential and actual problems the tourism zone is facing. These problems are, among others, climatic, geographic location, general attractiveness, connection to international transport, pollution and the lack of international investments.

Therefore I would like to ask, why this information was deleated. Collecting information on Turkmenistan is far from easy so any information on this country should be valued and not deleated without prior discussion. Especially when - as in this case - information is based on verifyable sources. The article as it is now is not more than a stub, which is less than the theme deserves. Without understanable explanations for deleating the article I would suggest editing the first part and undo-deletion of the second. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Travel the World123 (talkcontribs) 20:40, 7 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
