It would be interesting to get hold of Burga's patent application as published in 1911 to hear his argument for this high drag control system and to see if it was part of a wish for camber-changing wings. Couldn't immediately see how to do that on-line, though. Any ideas?

Also, I have only Jackson 1965, and wondered if he had found out anything more for the final editions. Anyone got it/them? There seems to be nothing in Flight post 1913.TSRL (talk) 09:14, 8 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
