Hello everyone, could the formula be simplified by writing the following?

$\sum _{i}\sum _{j}d(v_{i},v_{j})$

Since

$d(v_{i},v_{i})=0$

Distance between vertices in different components

I think we should also mention in the formula that if the nodes in a pair are in different components of the graph (so that the distance between them is actually infinite) then those pairs should not be taken into account to calculate the average path length. Isn't it?
