Notability

[edit]

Does not meet WP:SOLDIER & sig RS coverage not found link. He is not mentioned in Hitler's Stuka Squadrons: link.

A de.wiki article exists but it's very unconvincing for notability the main source being Nauroth, Holger: 'Stukageschwader 2 – "Immelmann" – vom Ursprung bis zur Gegenwart, Verlag K. W. Schütz, 1988, ISBN 3-87725-123-4.

Please also see a note at MilHist Talk Archives for background behind the redirect.

That is BS. A pilot with over more than 100 claims is easily notable. Dapi89 (talk) 18:31, 25 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

RfC on notability of flying aces

[edit]

Successful completion of missions (sorties flown, # of enemy aircraft shot down, etc) is not part of SOLDIER. A MilHist RfC on this topic has failed to gain consensus in May of 2017:
