Racing History

I've added the "too long"-tag to the "racing season" section. The paragraphs 2013 to 2016 alone spread over 14 (!) DIN 4 pages with almost 11000 words. It seems that someone had good intentions, but I find this is excessive. It seems that the editor who wrote most of it, is unfortunately no longer active. I think the 2014, 2015 and 2016 seasons in particular could probably be summarized a lot better. The editor had a tendency to be overly detailed with motorsport articles, so there is still a lot of work to do in getting these articles in better shape. It used to be even worse. I agree, no offense to the original contributor, but for the purposes of encyclopedic readability, that section needs to be axed. If nobody strongly objects, I'll go in later and try to cut it down by half or so, and then we can see where it stands. Frankly it needs to go down by significantly more, but I always get nervous about deleting legit information cause I'm so new. Sapper1984 (talk) 22:30, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
