Penguin monogamy

[edit]

Episode 1 repeats many times that penguins are monogamous. I don't know whether this is subsequently denied further on in the series, but the episode does a good job in peddling the general false idea that penguins mate for life. Many species are monogamous for a single breeding season only. Which makes them - I think - slightly less monogamous than humans... Person first versus identity first language

[edit]

On behalf of my fellow autistics and myself, I propose we eliminate the person first language from this page, to be replaced by the proper identity first language that applies to autism.. You don't label lgbt people according to what our parents want us(theres a huge amount of intersectionality between autism and lgbt) to be labeled as, so why would you do that to us autistics?  Preceding unsigned comment added by RenatusUpborne (talkcontribs) 21:23, 27 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
