'Stolen' is perhaps a bit harsh - the quotation is attributed (and has been since the article was created), but I agree that the article needs to become more comprehensive and reference other sources. --Neo 12:25, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Total rewrite

Following discussions at the very first Atomtronics Workshop, where someone brought up the fact that the Wikipedia page on atomtronics was not suitable (and no one even knew it existed), it was decided that someone should edit it! People volunteered. I wasn't one of those people, but I felt inspired and did it anyway.

What I wrote is only intended to be a start and isn't at all complete. I hope other people will contribute! Let's try to keep it accessible, because a lot of physics Wikipedia pages are so full of jargon that you have to know the field well before you can actually understand the page. On that note, cold atoms physics pages on Wikipedia have not seen much attention, so perhaps people might want to expand some of them?

Concise summary

first paragraph has some long run-on sentences that aren't particularly easy for someone unfamiliar with the subject to grasp. First paragraphs are intros to subjects and should be easier to read and understand. DeepSixing (talk) 07:29, 25 May 2026 (UTC)
