His inclusion as a member of 'The New Cars' is inaccurate. He is not, nor has he ever been, an official member of the band, nor has he been listed as a member in any press release, publicity materials, is not in any band publicity photos, or on their official website, nor has he recorded with them in a studio setting. He is a hired replacement on tour, that does not bestow on him official member ship in any way. Were he an official member, the band could not be considered a super-group, given that Ellis is not well known. This would be akin to calling Jimmy Nichols an ex-Beatle.(75.69.241.91 (talk) 05:26, 25 September 2009 (UTC))Reply
