Guided entry

[edit]

The article could be improved by adding a section on "Guided entry." See e.g. https://mars.nasa.gov/resources/3646/mars-science-laboratory-guided-entry-at-mars-artists-concept/ ( 𝐬𝐝𝐒𝐝𝐬  - talk) 01:56, 16 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Eject?

[edit]

Bailed out? There is no ejection seats on shuttles. This part - had the crew known the extent of the damage before attempting reentry, they would have flown the shuttle to a safe altitude and then bailed out. Ruderod (talk) 16:30, 21 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
