In my personal opinion, here are the things I expect to see first when looking up for "Asuka":
- Asuka, Nara - deferring much to Asuka, Yamato, besides its factsheet about the village.
- Asuka, Yamato
- Asuka Period
then, all what remains on this page.

False information. the Japanese name for Akshobhya, one of the Five Wisdom Buddhas.
[edit]The meanings of the kanji(阿閦/ASHUKU) are different. The pronunciation is different, too.220.104.48.126 (talk) 12:04, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
